The batteries below are all compatible with the electric wheel kits that we sell.
All these batteries are Lithium batteries. The bottle battery and rack battery are Lithium Iron Phospate (LiFePO
4) which is a chemistry that is longer lasting than the standard lithium chemistry and should last for about 2000 recharges or 3 years. The seat post battery is standard lithium iron chemistry and should last for 500-800 recharges or 2-3 years.

This attaches in place of the water bottle. The battery locks in the mounting, and can be released with a key so that it can be charged either mounted in the bike, or away from the bike. The battery and holder are about 40cm long, so you need a part of the frame long enough to take this length.
In typical usage, the battery will last 12 - 15 mile before needing to be recharged. As with all lithium batteries, they like to be kept topped up, and can be damaged if left uncharged for a long period of time. |

This battery clamps to the seat post under the saddle. The seat therefore needs to be not fully down in its lowest position or there will not be sufficient space for the battery. The battery can either be charged in place, or can be removed for charging away from the bike.
The battery mount incorporates a compartment that the controller can be hidden in, which results in a very neat installation. |
